- Applications: Suitable for lubrication and sealing of various industrial equipment, including chemical processing equipment, valves, bearings, ceramic plug valves, fire extinguisher valves, water treatment equipment, synthetic rubber seals, and O-rings. It is also used for lubricating O-rings in optical equipment to prevent fogging of lenses.
- Features & benefits : Excellent resistance to water, chemicals, and high and low temperatures, Low volatility, Meets requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.300, No intentional polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
- Typical Properties: semi-transparent; Physical properties: Hard compound; Permeability: Complies with ISO 2137 standard; Evaporation resistance: Evaporation rate less than 2.0% under 24-hour, 200°C conditions; Exudation resistance: Exudation rate less than 0.5% under 24-hour, 200°C conditions.
