Hornby R60204 Br Ymo Salmon Bogie Wagon, Cargo Wagons with Age 7 Wagons and Wagon Kits

LMS, beImage, courtesy of Paul Bartletting, the largest of the Big Four railway companies, was behind a large number of freight wagons, including some of the first large platform with trolleys The British Rail, when it took control of the UK's national railway network, chose the water theme for its freight wagons and therefore the flat design of the LMS trolley was named Salmon. Salmon wagons were designed to transport rail sections and later track panels. The 65-foot wagon allowed them to easily carry standard 60-foot tracks and consisted of up to ten wagons that could be combined to allow even larger lengths to be transported. Lots of these wagons, a total of 894 units, were built between 1949-1961, and the subsequent batch was built in 1983 Almost all of these batches have undergone reconstruction at different times with items such as carts and support positions shift and the addition of railway cranes and end supports in some variations. Another variation would have received another TOPS code. YMO salmon were the first to be classified by the BR. YMO vehicles were not equipped with equivalents for previous LMS equivalents. For many YMO vehicles, the supports have been completely removed to allow the ready track panels to be transported. The Hornby Salmon range is a new tool for 2023, covering almost all variants of the wagon. Equipped with a die-cast chassis, these wagons have a weight that rolls freely on metal wheels. There are supports in the accessory bag that can be mounted to show different looks of these wagons.
