COPPER/METAL FITTINGS WILL CAUSE THE FILTER TO CRACK UPON INSERTION.** This handcrafted inline filter will improve the pH level of the water produced by Reverse Osmosis Systems. This is an excellent add on for Reverse Osmosis Systems, refrigerators, and any other type of drinking water systems. This would be a final stage filter or can be used before a final carbon post-filter. The filter needs to be replaced every 1 year or 2,500 gallons-which ever comes first. Direction of flow from cap to end (KDF should be the last stage of flow water) There must be sufficient alkaline minerals in the water we drink.The trick is getting these minerals in clean water.The primary alkaline minerals in nature’s original water formula are calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium bicarbonate electrolyte salts (calcium and magnesium bicarbonate are complex hydrate salts that only exist in liquid form).Filter housing and fittings are made with BPA-Free polypropylene.
